PARENT INFORMATION
Whats in our Parent's Area?
Our secure Parents Area has been created to give families easy access to important information, guidance, and resources that support your child’s care, learning, and development with us and at home.
Within this password-protected space, you will find everything you need to stay informed and involved, including our Welcome Pack, Policies and Procedures, Privacy Notice, and details of how to raise a complaint should you ever need to. We also provide up-to-date risk assessments, including those relating to COVID-19, alongside our current menus and monthly newsletters.
To support learning at home, we share a Home Learning and Development Pack, featuring simple recipes, song sheets, and practical ideas to extend your child’s experiences beyond the nursery setting. You will also find age-appropriate learning and development checklists from 3 months through to 48 months, helping you understand key milestones and how your child is progressing.
Our Birth to Three and Three to Four Observational Checkpoints offer further insight into your child’s development, while the Characteristics of Effective Learning pages explain how children learn best through play, exploration, and active engagement.
For families with children approaching school age, our Pre-School Guide provides helpful advice on building strong foundations and preparing for Reception, with practical hints and tips to support a smooth transition. Please also remember to reserve a space at our meeting in May where we support and share important information in “Preparing your child for School”.
Above all, our families are incredibly dear to us. We value the trusting relationships we build with parents and carers and believe that open communication is key to providing the very best care for your child. If at any time you have a question, worry, or concern - no matter how small - we warmly encourage you to speak with our Nursery Manager, who will always be happy to listen, offer support, and work with you to find a positive solution.
We encourage all parents and carers to regularly visit the Parents Area, as it plays an important role in our ongoing partnership to support every child’s early years journey.
