Margaret opened the first nursery in 2000 for her own son Jack, and the same high personal standards still shape how we work today.

Children move freely between indoors and outdoors all day, following their own interests rather than a fixed timetable. Meals are cooked fresh on site from a rotating seasonal menu. Every child has a key carer tracking their development, and rural or garden space is part of daily life, not an occasional extra.

Our senior leaders work alongside the team in the rooms, so the people responsible for standards remain closely involved in everyday nursery life.

We have three nurseries across Buckinghamshire, in Marlow Bottom (SL7), Hazlemere (HP15) and Flackwell Heath (HP10). We welcome families from High Wycombe, Amersham, Marlow. Woodburn Green and Beaconsfield. Get in touch and we will help you work out which setting suits your family best.

We welcome children from three months to five years old. Many join us as babies and grow through the nursery, reaching pre-school surrounded by familiar faces and with a strong sense of belonging.

Yes. We offer funded places for eligible children from nine months old, including the universal entitlement for three and four-year-olds and the extended entitlement available to eligible working families.

Funding can feel complicated, so we are always happy to explain what your family may be entitled to and how the funded hours are applied at the nursery.

You can book a tour online here at your preferred nursery. Tours are relaxed and unhurried, we will show you a session in full swing so you can see exactly how the day feels, then come and meet us.

Our nurseries are rated Good by Ofsted. We are proud of that recognition, although we also believe the best way to understand a nursery is to see it for yourself.

Places do come up throughout the year, and the best way to find out what is available is simply to get in touch. We review our waiting list regularly and will always be straightforward with you about timings. A visit is a good place to start, and you can choose a time to visit here.

Settling in begins gently and develops at your child's pace. We usually start with two sessions of around two to two and a half hours, before gradually increasing the time as your child becomes comfortable.

Your child’s key carer is available to speak with you at drop-off and collection each day. We also provide written summaries of your child’s learning and development, alongside parent evenings where you can sit down properly with the team.

You never need to wait for a formal appointment if something is on your mind. We want parents to feel comfortable speaking with us at any time.

Children move freely between indoor spaces and the garden throughout the day, following their own curiosity rather than a timetable. Within that rhythm sits a carefully planned balance of circle time, creative exploration, structured activity and mealtimes, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Each child's key carer observes and builds on what they see, so the learning always starts with your child.

There are no bells and no rigid timetables. Children move freely between the indoor spaces and garden, choosing activities and following their own interests with support from the team.

Our chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and tea on site, with staff sitting and eating alongside the children. Rest and sleep are available whenever children need them.

Wellies go on when it rains and the sun sails go up when it is warm. Being outside is not a reward or an occasional activity. It is simply part of every day here.

Yes. We provide three freshly prepared meals, two snacks and drinking water throughout the day.

Everything is cooked on site by our chefs, using a seasonal menu that rotates over eight weeks to keep mealtimes varied. Full-fat cow’s milk is offered with snacks, and we will discuss any allergies, dietary requirements or preferences with you before your child starts.

Please send your child in clothes you are genuinely happy to see covered in mud, paint or both.

They will also need two complete changes of clothes, outdoor shoes or wellies, soft-soled indoor shoes, suitable layers for the weather and any comforter that helps them feel at home. Please also bring nappies and wipes where needed, and label everything clearly.

Every member of staff holds an enhanced DBS disclosure. Our team holds or is working towards qualifications including NVQ, DCE, Foundation Stage and Early Years Teacher Status. Senior management, including a graduate studying BA Early Years, works alongside practitioners on the floor each day rather than from behind a desk.

Our standard fees include all meals and snacks, wipes and sun cream, so there are no separate charges for everyday essentials.

When your child joins, there is a £130 registration and deposit payment, of which £100 is refundable when you leave, subject to one month’s notice.

Additional charges may apply for early starts, ad hoc sessions or days, and meals provided for funded-only hours. Any food charges relating to funded childcare will be clearly itemised on your invoice.
