PARENTS AS PARTNERS

We are keen to share and discuss your child’s progress and development regularly with you and want you as parents to feel comfortable about talking to your child’s key carer. To ensure this, we write termly learning and development summaries and appointments can be made at any time during the year if you wish to discuss your child’s progress and development. Parent's evenings are also held at regular intervals throughout the year, enabling the parents to meet the staff informally and look at all aspects of the nursery.

Despite our best endeavours, we realise that there may be occasions when the nursery, for whatever reason, fails to live up to expectations. We are always aware that we are dealing with individuals and that no two parents have the same view on childcare. Good communication can often prevent many problems getting too big and becoming issues. We hope that we develop an open and honest dialogue between your family and the nursery, that will allow you to air your concerns and have them adequately explained or addressed as soon as possible.
